SR-Λ Signature
Purchased just-arrived in 1993. As shown in the photos, it differs from the original in the following ways. Replacement parts were purchased from the STAX STORE.1. Arc Assy: The original was broken, so it was replaced in November 2024. In conjunction with this, the metal bracket connecting the diaphragm and the Arc Assy was removed. Those interested can refer to the STAX website for information on Arc Assy replacement.2. The sponge? on both the inner and outer surfaces of the diaphragm is completely gone. However, a net holder was added to the inside in 2023.These are the differences. It functions without problems, and music playback has been fine since the initial purchase and, of course, after the above modifications. However, due to the passage of over 30 years, there are minor scratches and dirt.I believe this is a product that allows you to enjoy music different from the current STAX Lambda-type.It will be shipped in the original box, further enclosed in an outer box.
