trending ! Complete guitar body with pickups installed

This guitar body had the neck removed due to extensive damage to the finish. It was from a inexpensive strat copy i picked up as a project but never got around to it. The coloring on the red parts is a bit patchy, and standard strat parts don't fit in my experience. It's a really nice project piece for someone with the time to find a neck that fits, and maybe make some custom pickup covers and pick guard. It played OK hooked up to an amp, but the damaged neck had the metal frets pulled out, so testing was difficult. It looked like someone removed them and attempted to refinish it. I originally planned to find a replacement for the old neck, but I dont have the space or time anymore. If you're interested in the neck as well, let me know, and we can work something out. The body will include the screw plate that attached the old neck to the body. From a smoke and pet free home.
