Brand new but the quality control on my box was terrible. The toy does not actually squeak. Looking closer it looks like there is no stopper on the bottom. This might be missing a piece there that would normally make it squeak. Low price as it can still be a great display piece or can be modified or left alone as a toy. Will be shipped in a tiny box to keep it from being squished. excellent for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
