Fairly new breed,Mangave is a mix of Agave and Manfreda. Mangave grows faster than Agave and the spikes on leaves are not as sharp. Deep purple tones, with red spots make for a stunning mix. Grow this in direct sun to bring out its stunning colors. Grows to a height of about 12”, and width of 8”. Will not survive temps as low as 20 degrees. Temps below that plant will need to be taken indoors. Be sure to place in sunny spot. Will produce offsets at base of plant. Plant is very well established. Excellent choice for xeriscaping!Plant in a fast draining cacti soil. Be sure to use a pot that has drainage holes. Water only when entirely dry. Water deeply allowing water to drain through base of pot.I do not ship plants in pots.
